A Look Back At UConn’s Four Overtime Thriller

In case you missed it, UConn and Cincinnati played one of the greatest basketball games in history on Friday.

The Huskies pulled it out in four overtimes.  They appeared to be dead in the water numerous times but benefited from some big shots, namely this miracle full-court heave by Jalen Adams to send the game into a fourth overtime, right after Cincinnati’s Kevin Johnson hit what looked like the game winning three with 0.8 seconds remaining:

Adams also hit the shot to send the game into a third overtime.

Despite putting everything they had into this game, the Huskies somehow managed to regroup and beat Temple by 15 on Saturday to earn a trip to the AAC Final.
