The Bruins may have come up short to the Blackhawks in the 2013 Stanley Cup Finals, but they managed to give us one of the greatest hockey games of all-time before the postseason came to a close.

Three years ago today was game seven of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals at TD Garden when the B’s were down 4-1 to the Toronto Maple Leafs with 11 minutes remaining in the game.  What happened next was unforgettable:

 

The footage of Jack Edwards exuberantly calling the game winner by Bergeron in OT was classic:

 

And so was the reaction of these devastated Maple Leafs fans:

 

After missing the playoffs the last two years, this is the type of stuff that makes you yearn for a good hockey team again.
