Ca$o continues to level up with the release of “Bygones”
Elite talent, an unflappable work ethic, an understanding of how to navigate the music industry and be considered “marketable” while also maintaining undeniable originality. These are all traits that make Ca$o one of the leading candidates to be the next artist to blow up out of Massachusetts.
After changing his name from Marc Vincent early last year, Ca$o made waves all 2019 with the release of quality tracks and videos like “TBH”, “Cujo”, “Jaguar”, and “Mosh Pit”. The energy that his fans brought to his packed show at Sonia in October was a result of his hard work and consistency.
This year hasn’t gone the way any of us planned, but that hasn’t stopped the Weymouth product from continuing to build on his momentum and push the envelope. The singles he’s dropped in recent months show continuous growth, and he’s begun to transcend the title of “rapper” as it’s gotten more and more difficult to put his music in a box.
Ca$o’s latest release, “Bygones”, is his most imposing work of art thus far, both sonicalIy and visually (shout-out to Tanj). This could, and should be the track that wakes up anyone who had been sleeping on this dude. I said the same thing about “Jaguar” eight months ago, but “Bygones” has doubled that video’s view total in just three days. Leveling up is an understatement. THIS is the one.
