Eduardo Nunez Hits Two Homers In Red Sox’ Walk-Off Win (VIDEOS)

It took exactly four days for Eduardo Nunez to win over the hearts of Red Sox fans after being traded to Boston from the Giants last Tuesday.

On Saturday night, in just his second game with the team, the 30 year-old veteran put up a monster performance at the plate.  He went 3-for-6, hit two home runs, and contributed to a wild walk-off in the 10th inning (although Sandy Leon gets most of the credit there).

Here are the highlights from Nunez’s big game:

And of course another look at that ridiculous slide by Sandy:

The Sox have now won two of their last three after dropping three in a row.  They’ll face the Royals Sunday in a rubber match as they continue to battle the Yankees for AL East supremacy.
