Highlights From Brad Marchand’s Five-Point Performance On Opening Night (VIDEO)
In Wednesday night’s 6-3 win over the Blue Jackets in Columbus, Ohio, Brad Marchand had the greatest performance by a Bruin on opening night since Phil Esposito in 1973.
Marchy’s five points matched Esposito’s total. He scored two goals, including one to take a 4-3 lead in the third period after the B’s had overcome multiple two-goal deficits.
Here are the highlights from his performance:
Marchand had the best season of his career last year when he finished sixth in the NHL with 37 goals and it looks like he’s picking up right where he left off. We knew this guy was good a few years ago, but now he’s taken his game to another level.
