Highlights From The Patriots’ Super Bowl Parade

Less than 48 hours removed from the greatest comeback in Super Bowl history, Patriots’ players, coaches, and fans were still noticeably fired up during the victory parade in Boston on Tuesday.

The turnout may not have been as big as parades in the past, but considering the weather there was still an unbelievable showing.  The most impressive part was the amount of energy that the fans brought and how loud it was during the whole celebration.

Here are some of the highlights from the day:

WBZ’s Steve Burton enjoying the best moment of his life, throwing a perfect ball to TB12:

Despite Gronk being in usual Gronk party mode, Devin McCourty may have been the drunkest guy at the party.  You can do what you want when you’ve been one of the most consistent, hardest working players on the team for years and you just won your second Super Bowl.

Watch the the Pats’ safety reminding everyone that Tom Brady now has “FIIIIIIVE” Super Bowl rings, as well as a speech by Brady, Gronk, and a tribute to the arguable MVP James White:

This angle shows just how deep the crowd was and how loud they were:

And, last but not least, the best of Gronk:

After doing his classic catching and chugging beers routine that he patented at the parade a couple years ago, Gronk explained that he didn’t originally plan on partying but he had to do it for the fans:

After the festivities were over in Boston, the team headed down to Providence for a rally at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center, where Gronk provided more classic moments:

And by the end of it all, he finally had enough beers in him to say “fuck it” and go ahead trash Roger Goodell on stage:

A beautiful ending to a beautiful day in New England.  I think I speak for all of us when I say I can’t wait for next year’s parade.
