Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz Talk About Partying With Athletes
Rappers Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz, fresh off the release of their collaborative album Collegrove, were recently on ESPN’s “Highly Questionable” talking about some of their experiences partying with athletes.
As entertaining as it is to listen to these stories, there are absolutely no surprises in regards to athletes that they mentioned.
JaMarcus Russell used to walk around with a book bag full of lean? Tell me something I don’t know.
JR Smith drunkenly walked in on Lil Wayne in bed with a woman? Of course he did.
I was really hoping there would be some surprise story about an athlete that we never would have expected. Like Tim Duncan once blacked out with 2 Chainz the night before a Finals game or Russell Wilson once spent a night in the studio with Weezy and recorded a whole Future diss album.
Either way they were highly entertaining on the show, although I kinda feel bad for JaMarcus Russell at this point:
Quality stuff from two of the biggest names and biggest sports fans in hip hop. For Wayne, this wasn’t his first time on ESPN. He’s made multiple appearances on “First Take” with Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith.
