Boston has won nine championships since the turn of the Century. Seven of them have come courtesy of the Patriots and Red Sox, so it’s important not to forget about the two that were brought to us by our beloved winter teams who play their home games at TD Garden.
Friday marks the eight-year anniversary of the Celtics winning the 2008 NBA Finals, capturing their first title since 1986.
Wednesday marked the five-year anniversary of the Bruins winning the 2011 Stanley Cup Finals, capturing their first title since 1972.
