Terry Rozier Has A Coming Out Party
The Celtics’ 14-game home winning streak came to an end tonight with a 102-98 loss to the Houston Rockets at the Garden.
The highlight for the Celtics in the loss was Terry Rozier, who played a season-high 10 minutes and was able to contribute 3 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists.
It wasn’t just the amount of minutes that Rozier played, but the meaningfulness of those minutes. Brad Stevens counted on him in the second half with the C’s trailing by less than 10 points.
Terry also won his first career Tommy Award, and if you’re not a Celtics fan you have no idea how much that means.
After the game, Brad Stevens said that Rozier rebounded as well as any Celtic all night. Here’s Brad talking about Terry in his postgame press conference:

Between this and Jordan Mickey’s recent displays of elite rim protection, Celtics fans everywhere are calling for the young guys to get more minutes.
