WATCH: Mac Jones impressive in week one loss
The Pats fell just short to the Dolphins at Gillette on Sunday, but rookie Mac Jones did everything you could have asked of him in his debut. The 23 year-old played nearly mistake-free football in the narrow 17-16 loss.
The one knock against Mac’s performance would be his execution in the red zone, but fumbles from Damien Harris and Rhamondre Stephenson plus a few costly penalties really made all the difference. In the end, Jones finished the game 29 of 39 for 281 yards, 1 touchdown, and no interceptions. His QBR of 75.1 starts him off at eighth best in the NFL.

Mac Jones and the Pats will look to get in the win column in another division game next week when they take on the Jets at the Meadowlands. Kickoff at 1 pm.
