You should swipe right for Brad Marchand

Marchand

Take a moment, get a sip of your tasty beverage and sit down. Where would the Bruins be this season without Brad Marchand?

If there ever was such a thing as “Hockey Tinder” every Bruins fan would super like Marchand. The only players in the league that have more goals than Marchand are Ovechkin and Kane. I would say that’s elite company if I ever saw it.  Bruins fans have been waiting for this kind of season for years, realizing his potential. He was always silver but we expected gold. He’s always been a 20-30 goal scorer but we’ve known that if he calmed down his ratty ways that he would be more focused and this year he dramatically reduced his agitator ways and seems more focused than ever to stay on the ice and figured out that he is much more valuable on the ice, rather than off the ice.

If you’re not a Bruins fan, there’s probably a 100% chance that you would have swiped left on Marchand without thinking twice. His rat face with that weird nose rubs people the wrong way. Well, that and he likes to do, um, questionable things after the whistle. Brad loves that he’s hated around the league because he loves what he does. He’s about annoying as Woody The Woodpecker. Fans of all the other teams won’t admit it but they would love to have Marchand. He does whatever it takes to win and he always is smiling because he’s talking trash trying to get under the opponent’s skin. Truth be told, if he wasn’t on the Bruins, Bruins fans would loathe him! Whether it’s taking a slash on an opponent after the whistle or chirping on the way to the bench, he’s always in the middle of the drama every single game.

A lot of fans think he plays dirty and at times I agree with them but other times it seems that it’s by accident.  Hockey is a fast paced game and sometimes things happen but because of who Marchand is and his outstanding reputation as a frustrating agitator, it usually gets viewed around the league like he punched a baby in the face and flipped off the parents.

Either way, anything he does gets overblown. He just might be, the most interesting man in the NHL. Swipe right and hope he messages you but you know if he does, it will be entertaining, frustrating but also fuego.

receive 4 emails with the same comment. Is there a means you
can remove me from that service? Cheers!
